Mary J. Wood

THE COUNTY.
HEBRON.
Died, at her home in Hebron on the 16th inst., Mrs. Mary J. Wood, Wife of Haynes Wood, in her 38th year. She was born near Elgin, Ill., but when only one year old her parents, Peter and Sarah Rich, moved to Porter county, Indiana. She was married to Haynes Wood in 1866, united with the U. P. church in 1868. In 1871 she moved with her family to Kansas, where they remained about five years and returned, since which time she has had her home in the vicinity of Hebron among old friends. She was a consistent Christian woman. She leaves a husband and one daughter to mourn their loss.
