We learn from Prof. Wilkinson that his mother died at her residence on Door Prairie on Tuesday, June 12th, aged 81 years and 8 months. His language on the occasion, which we cheerfully give, is, "that there never was a truer, kinder, or better mother, friend, neighbor, or christian. The long rolling ages are coming and going. The dear friend of childhood has now passed and gone. All honor to the suffering immortal spirit of the talented and gifted dead."
