Sadie May Whipple

OBITUARY.
SADIE MAY WHIPPLE.

Sadie May Whipple, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Whipple, aged 2 years and 3 months, died after a painful and protracted sickness at the residence of her parents on North Lafayette street in Valparaiso, on the 9th instant. She was a bright little girl and a great joy to her parents and grandparents, and her death is a sad affliction to them all; but their grief is not without hope. Though absent from the body she has entered upon her life in reality -- a life that shall have no death. The funeral services took place Sabbath afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Baptist church, being conducted by the pastor, in the presence of a large congregation, after which the remains were buried in the new cemetery.
