LOCAL.
Mr. A. Wells, formerly of this county, and brother of Wm. Wells, of Tassinong, after suffering with mountain fever at Russel, Kansas, became insane, and after trying to kill himself with a knife and pistol, and falling, on the 17th threw himself on the railroad track before a train and was killed and mangled.
