Unknown, Obituary/Death NoticePorter County obituaries and death notices . . . .

Dr. Marr, of Chesterton, telephones to this office this morning the particulars of a serious epidemic now raging at Porter station. It takes the form of chronic diarrhea or flux and as many as 40 people are ill. Two deaths occurred last night from this cause and it is reported that 2 more occurred this morning. Dr. Marr is of the opinion that the disease was caused by eating impure meats sold by a butcher of Chesterton and says he can trace the disease by following the track of the butchers wagon.
