Coroner's Inquest Report.
State of Indiana,
Porter County.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 7th day of November, 1876, information was given to me that the dead body of an infant person was found lying at the house of Milan Cornell in the city of Valparaiso in said county and state, supposed to have come to his death by violence or casualty, and I thereupon caused a jury to be summoned, sworn, and charged to ascertain, so far as possible, the cause and circumstances of said death. Witnesses accordingly were called and sworn and evidence reduced to writing, signed by both said jury and myself, and filed in the Clerk's office of said county, whereupon said jury made their verdict that siad child's name was __________ and that it came to its death by cause unknown. Said corpse was therefore left in charge of relatives for burial.

WM. C. PARAMORE,
Coroner of Porter County.
