TALK OF THE TOWN
An unknown man, who was walking on the Michigan Central track near the Calumet bridge was killed by train No. 31, in charge of Conductor Leach at 1 o'clock Saturday morning. Two trains passed each other on their respective tracks and he stepped from one track to the other to escape danger. The stranger had a bible in his possession. His body was taken to Kensington for a coroner's inquest. He was seen during the day in Kensington and he told a railway man that he belonged to Michigan City.
