Two Pioneers of Porter County are Called to Experience the Realities of That Great Beyond.

Mrs. Samantha Snyder.
Mrs. Samantha Snyder, 80 years old, died yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Forbes, of Coburg, with who she had lived twelve years. She had been in ill health for a month.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, with Rev. D. M. Shepherd, of Westville, officiating. Interment will be in the Westville cemetery.

Mrs. Snyder came to this part of the country from Hanna. Her husband passed away a few years ago at Westville, and one daughter, Mrs. Fant Deming, died about a month ago in Englewood. The surviving children are: Mrs. A. J. Forbes, of Coburg; Mrs. Rhoda Lawrence, of Westville; Mrs. Robert Beaton, of Englewood, and Jared Snyder, residing just southwest of this city. One brother, John Irvin, resides at Mishawaka.
