Willis Smith

DIED.
SMITH. -- On the 10th inst., Willis, infant son of Benjamin F. and Mary J. Smith, aged 3 years.

An appropriate discourse was delivered by the Rev. L. S. Buckles, from the words, "We sorrow not as those that have no hope."

Farewell, sweet Willie; thy sufferings were intense, but they are all over and we know, while we mourn thy early departure, thy angelic spirit is safely lodged in the great mansion house above.

"ere sin could blight, or sorrow fade,
Death came with friendly care;
The opening bud to heaven conveyed,
And bade it bloom forever there."
