FUNERAL OF R. H. SMALL BRINGS LARGE ATTENDANCE

The Wheeler M. E. church was packed to its capacity yesterday forenoon when the funeral of R. H. Small was held there. Rev. W. V. Meredith preached the sermon, the choir furnished the music, and Alvin Jones, of Gary, sang a song as a closing number. No less than 35 automobiles followed the casket to the last resting place in the Blachlys Corners cemetery. A profusion of flowers betokened the esteem in which the deceased was held. The pallbearers were Ross and Raymond Crisman, Levi Bay, Joseph Zelller, Michael Foreman and J. W. Kuehl.
