MEETS DEATH IN CHICAGO HOSPITAL
After nine weeks of illness, Mrs. John Weiler, of Hebron, passed away early this morning in the Chicago Wesley hospital, where she underwent and operation last Saturday in the hopes of prolonging her life. While it was known by her family that an ultimate recovery was impossible, death came sooner than expected, and the distressing news was received as a shock. The body will be brought back to Hebron this evening, after which the funeral arrangements will be made.

The husband and two sons, Ray and Cloid, are left to mourn her loss, besides her mother, Mrs. Sarah Ross; one sister, Miss Carrie V. Ross, of this city, and three brothers -- O. H. Ross, of Chicago; Alvah Ross, of Hurlburt, and Charles Ross, of this city. Mrs. Weiler was born at Porter Cross Roads, December 30, 1869, and all her life had lived there and in adjacent communities. Her last home was on the Hale Bates farm, just north of Hebron.
