HEBRON CITIZEN ANSWERS CALL OF DEATH
Hebron News: L. E. Ripley, for many years a resident of Hebron, died in his rooms over the H. Doyle barber shop Tuesday evening after an illness covering several months.

He started one of the first watch and clock repairing shops ever in the town, and also was the first operator of the telephone exchange.

Mr. Ripley was 68 years of age at the time of his death, and came to Hebron in the year 1875, ever after making this his home. The funeral service was held this morning at 11 o'clock at the home of G. W. Gidley. Interment was made in Hebron cemetery.
