Roy Ramsey
Little Roy Ramsey, age one year, 7 months and 6 days, died Thursday morning, May 8, 1879, of diptheria complicated with croup. The parents, Solomon and Lura E. Ramsey, were former residents of Valparaiso but now reside near Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Ramsey may be better known to many of her scholars and old school mates as the daughter of Dr. H. C. Coates. These young parents, though stricken with sorrow and tears will not grieve as those who have no hope; for Jesus says, "Suffer little children to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
"Tears below the dust above thee,
Sacred be thy silent tomb."
