George Quartermass

Fatal Accident.
Yesterday morning at about 7 o'clock Mr. George Quartermass was struck by a freight train on the Nickel Plate road, near his home at Wheeler, and instantly killed. It seems that old Mr. Quartermass is in the habit of going across this road every morning to milk his cows, and was going this morning, when he met his sad death. He was brought to the house of his daughter Mr. Wm. Johnston, to be kept till Saturday at 1 p. m., to which time the funeral was postponed for the arrival of his wife and son from Kansas, where the latter lives and the former has been visiting.
