J. W. Powers
Mr. John Lepell was the man who succeeded in finding the body of the man drowned in Sager's pond. During his life Mr. Lepell has found and taken from the water the bodies of four persons, one of which was diving, and saved two from drowing by good swimming. For his services in this work he has received one liberal reward and several medals.
