George Powers
LOCAL NEWS.
Died -- On Tuesday, Feb. 14th, at 4:10 p. m., Mr. George Powers, at his residence in Chesterton, aged 77 years, 5 months and 10 days. He had been sick about four days, and contracted his illness at the recent fire at his home. Mr. Powers was a resident of Chesterton about 16 years, and was widely known. He leaves a wife in Chesterton and relatives in the east to mourn his loss. The funeral occurs to-day at 10 o'clock from the M. E. church.
