Ida Amy Powell
Mrs. Ida Powell, whose long illness terminated with her earthly life on Friday last, was esteemed as a wife and mother by the entire community. By her associates she frequently was cited as one whose precept and example might well be imitated. By those who knew her best she was considered one of the noblest of Valparaiso's gentle women. A sympathizing public would alleviate the sorrows of the afflicted; particularly the little dear ones who are left so young without a mother.
