HAGEMAN.
Two weeks ago Ellen Pierson, youngest daughter of the widow Pierson, was seen enjoying life with a number of playmates. About ten days ago she was taken ill with lung fever, from which she died last Saturday evening. The funeral services were held at the house, Rev. Schallman officiating. Before the corpse left the lonely little home the pupils, headed by their teachers, Misses Erickson and Brummitt, marched in, two by two, to take a last farewell of their schoolmate. The bereaved family have our sympathy.
