Joseph Pearson

Joseph Pearson, formerly of Chesterton and a relative of Mrs. John Koontz, was fatally injured at Cassopolis, Mich., last Friday. He was in the employ of the Grand Trunk railway as a brakeman at the time, and feel between the cars while at work. He was taken to his home in South Bend, where he died Monday. Mrs. Koontz of Chesterton, attended the funeral which took place Wednesday. Pearson was well known hearabouts, having been employed on Caldwell's brick yard about three years ago.
