Jacob Paulson
Our citizens were somewhat startled during the last week to hear of the death of Jacob Paulson. He had been engaged for some time in our city as a drayman and had by invariable good nature and fair dealing won many friends. He was taken ill Wednesday of last week and died on Monday afternoon with typhoid pneumonia. His funeral took place yesterday at 2 P. M. from the Lutheran church. Mr. Paulson assisted to organize the German engine company No. 2, and was followed to the grave by the entire fire department in uniform.
