LOCAL.
Mr. Jacob Osborn, harness maker, who has resided here and carried on his business many years ago, and after being absent several years, returned and has lived here the last few years, died at his residence beyond the Woolen Factory last Friday, at the age of 67, after several weeks' distressing illness from apparent ulceration of the bowels. He was buried Sunday at the grave yard in this city, after funeral service at the Baptist church, conducted by the pastor, Elder Riley. Mr. Osborn was a good and worthy man in all relations, and was universally loved by those who knew him best, and now his wife and daughter have their earnest sympathy.
