CHESTERTON CHIPS
Nora, the sixteen year old daughter of John Orman, who lives five miles west of Valparaiso, was dragged to death by a horse last Thursday evening about 6 o'clock. She attempted to lead a team of horses from the barn to the water tank, and became entangled in the halter straps. This frightened the animals and they dragged her to death. So firmly had the straps become wrapped around the girl that they had to be cut away. She lived about two hours. The funeral was held Saturday. The family is broken over the tragedy.
