NEWS OF THE WEEK.
Last Friday evening, a Lake Shore fast train while passing through Mishawaka at a forty mile gait, struck Paul Oppelt, a German, 19 years old, killing him instantly. The accident occurred near the Dodge factory, in the eastern limits of Mishawaka. Oppelt and six companions were on the track, trying to remove a hand car, which they had been using.
