Melvin Norton
DEATHS.
DIED. -- On Wednesday night at 7:30, Melvin, son of Oliver Norton, at the age of 14 years and 10 months. He had been sick about four weeks, being first taken with measels. Lung fever then set in, followed by starrhal fever, and finally by croup. His sufferings were intense, but he bore the pain nobly. The funeral was held at the M. E. church on last Friday, Rev. West officiating, and the remains interred in the Chesterton cemetery. The afflicted parents have the sincere sympathy of the community, who mourn the loss of the promising young man.
