Emma W. McCool

OBITUARY,
McCOOL. -- Emma W., wife of John W. McCool, died at her residence, in Portage township, Porter county, Ind., on the 15th of March, 1875, in the 24th year of her age.

She died of consumption after about two years of illness. She was a patient sufferer, viewing her approaching end with calmness and resignation. She leaves her husband and two sisters, the last of a once large and happy family, to mourn her youthful loss. She was born and raised here, and only known to be loved and respected. Her loss to society will be felt, as she was one of our best and most respected citizens. Her funeral sermon was preached by Elder Mikels, at McCool's chapel, to a large and sympathyzing audience. She leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
