(From Monday's Daily)

Mrs. Jerome Massey, 72 years old, one of the best known women in the south part of the county, died at her home yesterday forenoon after an illness of long duration. The funeral will be held at the home Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. C. M. Filer, of the Hebron Presbyterian church, in charge. Interment will be in Graceland cemetery here.

Mrs. Massey was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Aylesworth, pioneers of the Hebron country. She was born and reared there on the homestead now occupied by one of her brothers. She is survived by her husband and three children -- Mrs. Flora Kenney, of Leroy; Mrs. Will Black, residing near Hebron, and Joseph Massey, of Kansas City. Mrs. Eugene Skinkle, another daughter, died in this city. Ed and Clinton Aylesworth, of Hebron, are brothers of the deceased, and Mrs. Charles Leeka is a sister.
