Mrs. William Martin
Miss Mary Martin, who has been here with her nieces, Misses Ella and Jennie Talcott, attending the Normal, got a letter Monday from Crown Point, to the effect that Mrs. Wm. Martin, her sister-in-law, was at the point of death. Mary hurried home in hope to see her living, but, we since hear, found her dead, and twin babes also dead to which she had just given birth. She is reported to have always much desired maternity, altho' she feared it would destroy her life, which it appears now to have done.
