SUDDEN DEATH.
A Little Child is Found Dead in It's Crib by It's Mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mann live near Flint Lake. Saturday they came to town to do some trading and brought with them the three-weeks-old child. Returning home in the evening they were met at the gate by Mrs. Mann's father, Henry Smith. Smith took the child and carried it into the house, and supposing it was asleep, placed it in the crib. A few minutes afterward the mother went to the crib and was horrified to find the little one sleeping the sleep of death.

It is supposed that the child had been too closely wrapped in making the trip home and was dead when the grand-father received it from it's mother's arms.
