Henry Luddington

Hebron Items.
Henry Luddington, of Porter X Roads, was run over here last Tuesday evening by the westward mail train, coming in. He came here with his father, who bro't in a load of corn. They started home together, but some difference caused Henry to remain out near the crossing, while his father went on home. Someone saw Henry later, sitting by a fire the section men had left. The engine dragged him from about the crossing to the Brey House, nearly 60 rods. His head was torn off, bowels torn out, one leg and one arm smashed badly, and his clothes and body scattered.
