OBITUARY.
DIED. -- On Monday, March 23, '85, Blenda Sophia Lindahl, of Spinal brain fever, aged 23 years, 9 months.

The subject of this notice was born in Sycamore, Ills. On June 5th, 1861, and with her parents removed from there to Chesterton. She was a good daughter, loved by all who knew her, and her death was greatly regretted by many friends. She was tkaen sick on the 10th of March, and it seemed from the first that Blende knew that her time was drawing near. Every preparation was made by her to leave this earth, and when the time came she was ready. On the 25th the funeral ceremonies were celebrated by her old pastor, Rev. A. Chalman, from the Swedish Lutheran church, and her remains laid to rest in the Chesterton cemetery. She leaves a father, mother, and two brothers and three sisters to morn her loss. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community in this their hour of affliction.
