Issac Lansing

TALK OF THE TOWN
The members of A. B. Wade Post, No. 208, G. A. R., of which the late Issac Lansing was a member, not being satisfied as to the cause of their comrade's death, through Peter Cooley had Coroner Coates exhume the body last Monday, and hold a post mortem examination. The body was taken to Lundberg's undertaking rooms, and an examination was made. The testimony of Drs. Green and Washburne was taken, and a thorough examination of the body made. It was found that death was caused by congestion of the brain, but what caused the congestion has not been made known. The Coroner has not yet rendered his verdict, but has promised to do so some time next week.
