Minnie Kreiger
PORTER POINTERS.
Mrs. Minnie wife of Robert Kreiger, departed this life aged 24 years on Tuesday, April 3, in a Chicago hospital. She was taken there Saturday to have a surgical operation performed. A year ago she had an operation performed, but it was not successful. The second attempt was made Monday and resulted in her death. The remains were brought to Porter Tuesday evening and the funeral was held Thursday at 1 o'clock, services being conducted in the Porter German Lutheran church, Rev. Schlecter, officiating. Mrs. Kreiger's maiden name was Scherer, and her home was in Laporte county south of Westville. She was married to Mr. Kreiger three years ago, and had no children. The afflicted husband has the sincere sympathy of the entire community in his bereavement.
