Death of W. W. King.
We grieve to learn of the untimely death of Wilbur W. King, of Laporte, Ind. Who worked so long and faithfully in the Vidette's office. Following are a few items of interest to his numerous friends, pertaining to his career.

He was born in South Bend, Ind., May 2, '53, and died in Laporte at 2 p.m. last Sunday in his 31st year, of consumption. He early learned the "art perservative," and was for years a member of Taylor & Co., Job Printers, of Laporte, and afterward of Taylor & King, of the Laporte Chronicle. He next engaged with the Vidette, and, his health failing, went to Denver, Colorado, in hope of regaining it but finally gave up and returned home a few days before his death. He leaves a wife and infant child. His funeral took place at 2 p. m. on Tuesday and was largely attended, the masonic fraternity taking charge of it, and Rev. W. E. Pritchard, of the Baptist church, officiating.
