Polly Kettle

DIED.
KETTLE. -- In Jackson township, Porter county, Ind., Aug. 6, 1880, in the eightieth year of her age, Mrs. Polly Kettle.

Polly Hackett was born in Herkimer county, N. Y., in 1801. In 1813 she removed with her parents to Onondaga Co., N. Y. In 1823 she was married to Peleg Kettle, and in 1857 removed with her family to Porter county, Ind. She has been a firm believer in the Gospel of Christ about forty years, and died in great peace.
