Louisa Johnson

PORTER POINTERS
Mrs. Louisa Johnson, wife of Peter M. Johnson, was found dead in her bed Saturday morning, July 22. She was an old lady 79 years old, and on the day previous had been out in the garden working. In the evening she took some medicine, not feeling well, and at nine o'clock went to bed, and shortly after fell into a doze. About 11 o'clock Mr. Johnson, who is also old and feeble, heard her groan and went to her. It was then she must have died. She was subject to heart trouble which was the cause of death. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, and was the largest attended ever held in this place.
