PUPIL FALLS DEAD WHILE PLAYING BALL
(From Friday's Daily)

Dusine Jensen, 15 years old, a pupil at Aylesworth school in Boone township, fell dead while running bases in a ball game at the school this morning. She had over-taxed her heart, it was disclosed by Coroner Loren E. Lewis, who went there at once to hold an inquest. Dr. Blood was called from Hebron over the telephone, but life was extinct almost as soon as the girl's body touched the ground. The school was thrown into a panic and lessons were abandoned.

Miss Grace Line, the teacher, hurried out to the prostrate girl and did everything that might resuscitate her. Stimulants were brought from the homes in the neighborhood, but to no avail. Then the Hebron doctor came and pronounced the girl dead beyond doubt, and the body was taken home to be received by the grief-prostrated parents, who live on one of the William Schleman farms.

Dusine was exceptionally bright, the teacher said. She was taking a grade and a half of work, and did it easily. In spite of her bodily stoutness, she was very active and took part in all athletics on the play-ground. In the game this morning she was , as usual, enthusiastic with the sport. Dusine is the third child of the family to be taken away by sudden death. Both of the previous fatalities were due to heart trouble. She is survived by five brothers and sisters, besides the parents.
