DEATHS
Died, on Tuesday, Sept. 8th, at five minutes past 1 o'clock p. m., Mrs. Christena Jacobson, at her home in Woodville, Ind., after two weeks' illness, aged 48 years, 11 months and 1 day.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 10th, from the Swedish M. E. church in Chesterton. Rev. Paulin officiating. Mrs. Jacobson was born in Rydaholm, Jönköpingslan, Sweden, Oct. 6, 1843, and was united in marriage with Charles Jacobson on Dec. 24, 1860. In 1868 they came to America, and for many years lived in Chesterton, and when they moved from Chesterton they have since resided near Woodville. She was the mother of eleven children, six of whom are now living, three boys and three girls, who with a loving husband sadly mourn her death.
