Joseph R. Hill
NEW OF THE WEEK.
Joseph R. Hill, and old and well-known citizen of Michigan City, died very suddenly Monday at his home. He was apparently in good health in the morning, and was found dead in his yard. He was the father of Mrs. Jos. Gardner, of Valparaiso, and was one of the oldest Masons in the state. The funeral was held Wednesday, and was largely attended. A large Valparaiso delegation drove over Wednesday to take the train from Porter, to attend the funeral.
