James W. Harris

Rev. James W. Harris, a Methodist minister formerly stationed at Chesterton, and afterward stationed at Michigan City for four years, and more recently superintendent of the Soldiers and Sailors' Orphans' home at Knightstown, committed suicide at New Orleans recently. He was highly respected as a minister and had a large circle of friends in northern Indiana. He was originially from Knightstown.
