George Harper

From the DAILY VIDETTE of Friday, Nov. 9th inst.
Yesterday morning about 8 o'clock Geo. Harper, living at Woodville, while walking on the Baltimore & Ohio track in that village, was struck by No. 4 passenger train and instantly killed. Mr. Harper is one of three bachelor brothers and is 51 years old, almost blind and wholly deaf. Andrew Letherman was notified of the man's death and went out and held an inquest over the remains. The result of the inquest wholly exonerates the railroad company, as it was purely accidental.
