COUNTY SEAT NEWS.
Wm. Goff, residing near Deep river, started, last Thursday, for a hunt, accompanied by his five-year-old son. The little fellow was walking in front of his father, who was carrying his gun under his arm with the muzzle forward. He caught his foot in the grass and fell, the gun being discharged, the load taking effect in the boy's back, tearing a hole through the body. He lived an hour and a half and died.
