Jennie Foster

DEATHS
DIED -- On Wednesday, March 1st at her home in Chicago, of typhoid fever, Mrs. Jennie, the beloved wife of Albert H. Blair, aged 20 years, 4 months and 7 days.

The deceased was the daughter of Louis Foster, of Valparaiso and was married on Nov. 14th 1892. She was born in Montreal, Can. and with her parents came to Valparaiso in 1882. She was widely known in the Vale, and greatly beloved for her amiable qualities. The remains were brought to Valparaiso Thursday, and accompanied by a large number of relatives and friends. The funeral services were conducted in St. Paul's church Friday morning, Father Dempsey officiating, and the remains laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.

Her death is a sad blow to her loving husband, whose life was wrapped up in her, and also to the fond parents and their great consolation lies in the act that her life has been one that entitles her to enter the pearly gates beyond where all is peace and love.
