FLUELLEN.
John Fluellen was born in Franklin county, Indiana, June 25th, 1837, and died in Valparaiso, of Bright's disease, March 1st, 1883. He was married to Mary C. Heddon in 1860, by whom he had four children, only one of whom survives him. In 1872 he was married -- having lived a widower some nineteen months -- to Mrs. Arimind, widow, by whom he had three children, one of whom died sometime since. He enlisted in the 99th Ind. Vol., Co. A., under Col. Fowler, in 1862, served his time and was discharged. While in the service he received a hurt that resulted in the disease that caused his death. Only a few weeks since he received his pension, which, including arrears, enabled him to provide a comfortable home in this city for his wife and children. He died in Christian faith of a blessed immortality. His funeral was attended at the Methodist church by the pastor, Rev. G. M. Boyd, on the 3d inst.
