Resolutions of Condolence.
HALL OF WESTVILLE LODGE, No. 136, I. O. O. F.
WESTVILLE, Feb. 20th, 1875.

WHEREAS, It has pleased our Heavenly Father to summons our beloved Brother, Silas J. Ferris, to that bourn from which no traveler returns. Therefore,

Resolved, That in the death of Brother Ferris, we have been called upon to part with a good, faithful and exemplary member of our Order, and the community with a valuable citizen.

Resolved, That we will try and imitate his virtues and love for the principles of Odd fellowship, and be always ready as was he to render assistance to those that required it.

Resolved, That we tender our sympathy to the sorrowing friends of the deceased in this their hour of grief.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to his brother, J. Ferris, at Valparaiso, also that they be published in our county papers.
