Albert Featherling

KOUTS, Ind. -- On last Saturday evening while Mr. Albert Featherling was unloading a load of bailed hay, he was kicked and almost instantly killed by one of his horses. It was about half past six o'clock, and no one was with him except his little son. The child ran at once to the home of John Dwyer for help, but when they arrived at the scene of the accident, Mr. Featherling was dead. He had staggered a few steps from where he stood when the horse kicked him and was lying on his back dead. Dr. Noland was at once summoned, but of course could do nothing but break the news to the stricken family. He was buried in the cemetery west of town on Tuesday. He leaves a wife and four children to mourn their loss.
