J. Mefford Fairchild
DIED -- On Monday the 28th ult., in Morgan Township, of Pulmonary Consumption, Mr. J. Mefford Fairchild, son of Rev. N. S. Fairchild, in the 23d year of his age. Some month ago he found peace in believing in Christ. He bore his protracted illness with great christian patience, rejoicing with increasing joy as the hour of his departure drew nigh. He fell asleep in Jesus. Num. 23, 10.
