Peter Durocher

DIED: -- In Chicago, last Friday, December 9th at 7:30 a. m. Peter Durocher, the funeral services were held in St. Michael's church on Saturday after which the remains were brought to Lake and interred in the Catholic cemetery at this place at one o'clock Sunday. Mr. Durocher was born in Canada at Montreal in 1806 which make his the ripe old age of 81 years. He grew up in New York state and moved from Plattsburg to Lake county about 35 years ago where he was for many years a highly respected citizen. About the year 1872 he removed to Stormburg, Nebraska, where several years ago his wife departed this life. In May of this year he returned from Nebraska and has been in this vicinity most of the time since. His relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss.
