Milan Cornell

CHESTERTON CHIPS
Milan Cornell, one of the pioneer settlers of this county, died at his home in Valparaiso last Saturday after a lingering illness. He came from Ohio in 1834 and settled near Hebron, being one of the first white settlers of Boone township. He was married in 1854 to Miss Cordelia Freeman. Mrs. Cornell died five days prior to her husbands death. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Valparaiso, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and was in charge of the I. O. O. F. of which order he was a member.
