John Cooney

Last Thursday John Cooney, one of the most popular conductors on the west end of the Michigan Central road, was killed near Joliet. He was last seen alive walking over the cars of his train, and shortly afterwards found out in twain. The supposition is that he was thrown under the wheels by a sudden lurch of the train.
