Mrs. Connell

TOWN AND COUNTRY.
Mrs. Connell, wife of Patrick Connell, died at her home in Chesterton on Sunday night last, of consumption, aged 65 years. She was taken sick in the early part of the winter, and steadily grew worse until death overtook her. Mrs. Connell and her husband were the first Irish settlers of Chesterton, and excepting Mrs. Ann Powers, she was the oldest settler of the town. The family located here in 1850, coming from Milwaukee, where they had lived a short time, having arrived there from the old country. Her funeral took place Wednesday, from the Catholic church, and the remains buried in the Catholic cemetery.
